ADVANCED CONCEPTS is an entity within the company dedicated to the design and deployment of advanced, innovative technologies. ADVANCED CONCEPTS is fast-tracking the development of high-technology autonomous systems, including three Medium Endurance, High Altitude, fixed-wing unmanned aerial systems, a family of precision loitering munitions, and a range of guided artillery munitions.

Core Accountabilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and OS to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls, providing technical support and troubleshooting as needed.
• Develop and execute backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to protect organizational data.
• Respond to and resolve system incidents and outages quickly, minimizing impact on business operations.
• Monitor system performance, implement optimizations, and ensure high availability of services.
• Work closely with IT support staff and other departments to resolve issues and support organizational needs.
• Provide training and guidance to users on system functionalities and best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in IT infrastructure administration with a focus on servers and system management for a mid-sized organization.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related fields.
• Strong understanding of NIST 800-53 and data classification.
• Proficient with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) for server deployment and management.
• Strong knowledge of server and network infrastructure including Windows and Linux.

Key Skills

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange Infrastructure.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and configuration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Understanding of Identity Access Management (IAM) & Role Based Access Controls (RBAC).
