About the Role
The IT Infrastructure and Support Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, securing, and improving the organization's IT infrastructure and cybersecurity environment. This ensures reliable, secure, and continuous IT services that support 24/7/365 airport Baggage Handling System (BHS) operations.
The position requires providing hands-on technical support across various domains including server infrastructure, virtualization, storage, backup and recovery, network infrastructure, endpoint security, system monitoring, and cybersecurity. Additionally, the role will support IT infrastructure projects, system upgrades, technology implementations, security enhancements, and IT/OT initiatives while ensuring minimal disruption to business-critical operations.

Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Provide technical support for server infrastructure, virtualization, storage, backup, and recovery systems.
- Manage and monitor network infrastructure and endpoint security measures.
- Support IT infrastructure projects, including upgrades and technology implementations.
- Enhance cybersecurity measures and handle vulnerability remediation and patch management.
- Ensure minimal disruption during infrastructure changes to maintain business continuity.
- Collaborate with other teams on IT/OT initiatives and improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure administration, systems engineering, or IT operations.
- Practical experience managing enterprise server, virtualization, storage, backup, and network environments.
- Experience implementing infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, security hardening, and technology improvement projects.
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity operations, vulnerability remediation, patch management, and infrastructure security controls.
- Experience supporting business-critical or 24/7 operational environments is highly desirable.
- Exposure to airport systems, baggage handling systems, industrial environments, or IT/OT infrastructure is an advantage.
