About the Role
The IT Infrastructure and Support Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, securing, and improving the organization's IT infrastructure and cybersecurity environment. This ensures reliable, secure, and continuous IT services that support 24/7/365 airport Baggage Handling System (BHS) operations. The position involves providing hands-on technical support across various areas, including server infrastructure, virtualization, storage, backup and recovery, network infrastructure, endpoint security, system monitoring, and cybersecurity. Additionally, the role supports IT infrastructure projects, system upgrades, technology implementations, security enhancements, and IT/OT initiatives while ensuring minimal disruption to business-critical operations.

Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain IT infrastructure and cybersecurity measures.
- Provide hands-on technical support for server, storage, and network infrastructure.
- Ensure continuous monitoring and improvement of cybersecurity practices.
- Support infrastructure projects and system upgrades while minimizing disruption.
- Manage enterprise environments, including virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure administration, systems engineering, or IT operations.
- Practical experience managing enterprise server, virtualization, storage, backup, and network environments.
- Expertise in implementing infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, and security hardening.
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity operations, vulnerability remediation, patch management, and infrastructure security controls.
- Experience supporting business-critical or 24/7 operational environments is highly desirable.
- Exposure to airport systems, baggage handling systems, industrial environments, or IT/OT infrastructure is an advantage.
