Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain VMware infrastructure, including vSphere, vCenter, and VCF environments.
- Manage and optimize Azure Infrastructure Services, ensuring seamless integration with on-premises systems.
- Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers, performing upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of infrastructure systems.
- Oversee network infrastructure components including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure security best practices, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans.
- Monitor infrastructure performance using tools and automation for proactive issue resolution.
- Support shared services environments, ensuring efficient resource allocation and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide infrastructure solutions that align with business needs.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation, SOPs, and configuration records.
- Research and recommend emerging technologies to improve efficiency and resilience.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP / VCF)
- CCNA or equivalent networking certification
- Linux or Windows Server certification
- Proven hands-on experience with:
- Azure Infrastructure management and integration
- VMware vSphere / vCenter / VCF deployment and administration
- Windows and Linux server environments
- Networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching)
- Infrastructure monitoring and automation tools
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, network, and security best practices.
- Ability to independently manage ongoing infrastructure operations and support projects.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in fast-paced environments.
