As an IT Intern, you will be an integral part of the IT operations team, responsible for prioritizing and assisting with day-to-day IT requests and issues, managing IT assets, and supporting project implementation. Your role will involve reporting to the Local IT Manager and thriving in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. You will apply and interpret rules and guidelines while enriching the business in line with BCG’s values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site technology support in home and office environments across various platforms and devices (PC, Mac, iOS, Android, etc.).
  • Utilize knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Active Directory to deliver 1st/2nd line IT support.
  • Troubleshoot and log technical issues received via phone calls or the IT Service Management tool, Service Now.
  • Assist with documenting critical and routine technical procedures and end-user literature.
  • Support video conference and telecommunications systems and assist key users as needed.
  • Prepare and deploy laptops for staff, including configuring user profiles and data migration.
  • Manage hardware asset tracking and inventory.
  • Participate in operational projects for both global and local initiatives.
  • Provide support in managing telecom services, including SIM card requests and basic troubleshooting.

What You'll Bring:

  • Excellent customer service focus with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starting attitude, resourcefulness in problem-solving, and professionalism to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team while showing respect for others.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to adhere to established procedures and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in excellent English.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows 11, Windows Server, Mac OS, Microsoft Office 365, and Cloud file sharing.
  • Experience with MS Teams/Zoom/WebEx, basic LAN and IP networking knowledge.
  • Exposure to cloud technology and VoIP experience.

Working Conditions:

  • Shared office space.
  • Some lifting/moving of equipment may be required.
  • Occasional weekend or early/late hours as per business needs.
