IT Manager - Financial Planning

About the Job
Core42 is seeking an experienced IT Manager for Financial Planning. The successful candidate will manage and administer Core42 IT financials, chargeback, contracts, licenses, vendor management, agreements, subscriptions, and SLAs. The role involves monitoring and tracking Core42's IT OPEX and CAPEX spend to ensure adherence to budget and identify opportunities for optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor the IT budget, including operating budget and CAPEX projects; prepare IT budgets and forecasting; track spending for all IT initiatives.
• Initiate, track, and receive IT procurement in coordination with Accounting and Procurement.
• Initiate, track, execute, and monitor IT contracts, collaborating with Procurement and Legal teams.
• Design, develop, direct, and execute processes to plan, record, analyze, and report on the financial conditions of IT financials, contracts, licenses, cloud subscriptions, and vendor management.
• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce IT costs, generate revenue, and improve service offerings.
• Build strategic relationships with vendors and explore opportunities for commercial, technical, and timing collaborations.
• Provide financial analysis and leadership to support decision-making for new services and initiatives including pricing strategies and partnership agreements.
• Report on service utilization and manage contracts and services logs.
• Lead continuous improvement of IT Supplier Relationship Management processes and make recommendations for improvements in line with procurement.
• Manage IT vendor contracts and ensure SLAs are consistently met and payments are released accordingly.
• Support IT vendor selection processes, negotiate agreements, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth supplier management.
• Renew IT contracts timely and conduct regular evaluations for cost reduction opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, finance, or a related field.
• Strong IT knowledge and financial reporting experience.
• 10-12 years of experience in finance, economics, or IT management, preferably with vendor and contracts management experience.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially spreadsheets.
• Strong organizational, time management, presentation skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong team player/collaborator with the ability to influence.
• Good understanding of project management methodologies.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
