As an IT Manager, you will resolve complex hardware, software, server, and infrastructure issues, ensuring that IT maintenance and troubleshooting are executed to high standards in accordance with Amazon policies, particularly relating to IT and Health & Safety. You will lead the coordination of trouble tickets and change management according to strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs). You should be confident in your IT project management skills, capable of overseeing projects and ensuring your team takes ownership of IT processes, while maintaining effective reporting and internal customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will be responsible for the development and management of the IT budget and will encourage IT skill development among Fulfillment Center staff. You will lead and manage scheduling for staff and shifts, consistently driving operational excellence within the IT team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Fulfillment Center IT infrastructure and operations.
- Ensure IT maintenance and troubleshooting adhere to company standards.
- Manage trouble ticket coordination and change management.
- Maintain IT budget and manage lifecycle processes.
- Lead IT team development and support skill enhancement.
- Drive continuous improvement of IT processes.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in developing a technical team across multiple locations.
- 2+ years of experience leading technology teams as an IT Operations Manager or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of professional or military experience.
- Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of hardware architectures.
- Experience with system management tools and client/server environments.
