IT Operations Manager, Data Center

This role offers work visa support and welcomes candidates willing to relocate to Dubai. The IT Operations Manager will be responsible for:

1. Daily operation maintenance and service management of the computer room, ensuring a balance of service quality, efficiency, cost, and safety while continuously optimizing operations to support business functions.
2. Responding to and handling risk events and emergency faults, managing controllable operation risks related to IDC changes and issues.
3. Establishing efficient cooperative relations with local government departments and meeting compliance operation requirements assigned by them.
4. Providing on-site technical support for business equipment, understanding business needs and network structure, and promoting the implementation of operation projects among teams.
5. Building a talent pipeline, conducting capacity training, managing risk control, fostering team culture, and assessing the on-site operation and maintenance team.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
2. 3+ years of experience in managing global large data center operations (10+MW) with a team of more than 15 people.
3. Deep knowledge of Data Center IT Operations.
4. Functional knowledge of cloud technologies, IT service delivery principles, and best practices.
5. Highly driven, self-managed individual with strong problem analysis and critical thinking skills.
6. Familiarity with data center construction procedures.
7. Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (25% to 50%+ at times).
8. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
9. Bilingual in Chinese is required to coordinate with the HQ in China.
