About the Job: The IT Operations Manager for the Data Center is responsible for the daily operation maintenance and service management of the computer room within the jurisdiction. This role balances service quality, efficiency, cost, and safety, continuously optimizing and improving processes to support the business operations of the department. The manager will handle responses to risk events and emergency faults, ensuring controllable operational risks, and will establish efficient cooperative relations with local government departments to fulfill compliance operational requirements. Additionally, the role involves providing on-site technical support for business equipment, understanding business needs and network structure, and promoting the implementation of operation projects between teams. The IT Operations Manager will oversee talent development, capacity training, risk control, team culture development, and assess the on-site operation and maintenance team.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  2. 5+ years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in global, large-scale data center operations (10+ MW) as a team leader managing a team of over 15 people.
  3. Profound knowledge of data center IT operations.
  4. Familiarity with cloud technologies and architectures, as well as IT service delivery principles and best practices.
  5. Highly driven, self-managed individual with significant experience in problem analysis and critical thinking.
  6. Understanding of data center construction procedures.
  7. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (25% to 50%+ at times).
  8. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  9. Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a must, as the role requires coordination with headquarters in China.
