As an IT Operations & Support Engineer, you will ensure smooth IT service operations for Emirates Group and External Clients, minimizing disruptions and acting as the primary point of contact for incident resolution and service requests.

In this role, you will be responsible for addressing and resolving customer issues to provide superior service to our internal and external customers, ensuring that the service provided aligns with specific qualitative or quantitative targets and Key Performance Indicators, analyzing reported incidents and providing solutions to users to minimize disruptions, updating the status of incidents or service requests, ensuring all tools and relevant teams are updated, providing quick fixes/workarounds to the Problem Management Team, identifying recurring problems and collaborating with the problem management team to develop permanent solutions, ensuring deployment projects are carried out following best practices, and liaising with vendors, IT coordinators, and other IT teams to ensure high system availability.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements: a Bachelor's degree or 12 years of schooling, 4+ years of experience in Information Technology, training courses in communication, application support, and customer support from a recognized institution, experience as a support engineer dealing with application support in the computer and communication industry, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage various issues effectively, knowledge of using PCs, MS Office, Incident Management, and Problem Management infrastructure operations, with ITIL certification, Database experience (SQL/Oracle), and Application (Java) Support experience preferred.

This position operates on a rotational shift basis, ensuring continuous coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
