As an IT Portfolio Lead - Emiratisation, you will design and implement consistent PMO best practices for portfolios and programmes which enable successful and timely delivery of IT's commitments to the business within cost. You will implement and uphold overall funding governance, monitor and track portfolio performance, and provide data-driven insights to stakeholders for informed investment decisions. This role will also involve developing necessary tools and processes training, coaching, mentoring, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a change in the ways of working through building strong relationships and networks with managers, executives, and other key stakeholders to transform the traditional PMO to an Agile PMO.
  • Develop and implement a consistent PMO methodology for managing project performance including driving consistent processes and practices across the Portfolio.
  • Measure overall project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Manage project changes in accordance with the Project Management Office change management process governance guidelines.
  • Prepare and track the annual budget and capacity plans.

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology (12+3 or equivalent)
  • 5+ years experience within IT and portfolio/programme management
  • PMO experience in supporting the delivery of business IT solutions with financial governance
  • Strong communication, analytical abilities, and experience with project management tools like Planview and JIRA
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office Applications
