IT Portfolio Lead

As an IT Portfolio Lead, you will design and implement consistent PMO best practices for portfolios and programmes that enable successful and timely delivery of IT's commitments to the business within cost. This role will also involve implementing overall funding governance, monitoring portfolio performance, and providing data-driven insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making.

You will drive change by building strong relationships with managers, executives, and key stakeholders, leading the transition from a traditional PMO to an Agile PMO. This includes developing a consistent PMO methodology for managing project performance while ensuring alignment with organizational standards and strategic objectives.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology (12+3 or equivalent)
• 5+ years experience in IT
• Minimum of 5+ years in portfolio/programme management office supporting CMMi for traditional and SAFe (or equivalent framework)
• Proven experience in business IT solutions delivery with financial governance
• Strong analytical abilities and computer literacy skills
• Knowledge of project management practices (e.g., Project Management Institute) preferred
• Excellent communication skills in English and negotiation abilities
• Proficient in project management tools like Planview, JIRA, and MS Office Applications
