The IT Procurement Senior Officer plays a critical role in procurement processes and supplier relationship management at PwC. The focus is on achieving operational efficiency and cost savings through effective purchasing practices. This position is responsible for executing and optimizing procurement processes, driving quality acquisition at competitive prices, and managing supplier relationships.
Job Responsibilities:
- Follow procurement strategies to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist the Procurement Category Lead in managing category spend and optimizing contract terms.
- Review vendor performance and support RFI/RFP processes.
- Amend contract terms to align with PwC's financial strategies.
- Build internal customer relationships and support functional procurement activities.
- Manage procurement data and ensure accuracy in Finance Systems.
- Support internal procurement projects and identify improvement opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Experience: 3+ years in a procurement function, preferably in a large organization.
- Language Requirements: Fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Knowledge of corporate procurement principles and cost improvement strategies.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain excellent relationships across functions.
