Job Responsibilities:

  • Follow the procurement strategy set by team leadership, focusing on high-opportunity spend areas and identifying potential savings.
  • Assist the Procurement Category Lead in managing category spend and defining strategies to optimize contract terms, costs, and service quality.
  • Review vendor performance and perform benchmarking across the region.
  • Support the RFI/RFP processes, including the creation of scopes of work, evaluation, recommendations, and facilitation of approvals.
  • Review contract terms and recommend amendments for the best interests of PwC, aiming for year-on-year reductions in spending.
  • Build internal customer relationships and support the development of external supplier relationships within the procurement category.
  • Provide ongoing contract management support and ensure internal customer satisfaction with procurement services.
  • Support internal procurement projects and initiatives, ensuring efficient delivery of procurement processes and tools.
  • Track key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
  • Overall Experience: 3+ years in a procurement function, preferably within a large organization and experience in the Middle East is advantageous.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Corporate Procurement principles and implementation of cost improvements.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to maintain relationships across geographical locations.
  • Excellent knowledge of the tender evaluation process and corporate procurement policies.
  • Strong customer service orientation, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
