The IT Program Manager is responsible for defining objectives, planning, executing, and monitoring all assigned IT projects/programs within the client. The Program Manager will manage end-to-end delivery of large/strategic projects/programs within agreed timelines, scope, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders; perform resource planning and develop comprehensive project plans.
- Project Execution: Acquire resources and coordinate efforts of team members and external consultants to deliver according to the plan; ensure that projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
- Project Monitoring and Control: Track project progress and compliance with agreed quality measures; manage project risks and monitor the budget.
- Communication and Reporting: Develop communication methodologies and effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders; present project status to business owners and stakeholders.
- Risk and Change Management: Ensure project and change management processes align with governance processes; proactively manage changes in project scope and identify potential pain points.
- Team Management: Responsible for conflict resolution within the project team; organize workshops and ensure team members have the required information and resources.
Role-Specific Knowledge / Skills:
- Minimum of 10 years overall experience with at least 8 years as a Project Manager, preferably in a Banking/Financial institution.
- Experience managing individual complex strategic projects valued over AED 10 Million.
- Strong communication, presentation, and team-building skills.
- In-depth understanding of Project Management frameworks (waterfall and Agile) and proven track record of delivery.
- Strong interpersonal and people management skills.
