IT Project Manager - Banking

About the Role
We are currently seeking an IT Project Manager to join our operations in Qatar. This role is essential for managing and executing IT projects specifically tailored to the banking and financial services sector.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects within the banking sector.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets while tracking project progress and performance.
• Ensure project activities align with the organization’s strategies and goals.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
• Lead project teams, ensuring clear communication and coordination.
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Certification in Project Management (PMI) is mandatory.
• An MBA or Master’s Degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 8 years’ experience managing IT projects specifically in banking and financial services.
• Additional training courses or certifications in systems technology, management, and banking are advantageous.
