IT Project Manager

The IT Project Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of the company's technology projects. This position involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (Tech, Product, and QA) to plan, execute, and track projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Manage project execution, tracking progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with the Head of Product to shape the product backlog and work with the CTO for timely project delivery.
• Set expectations for top management concerning software delivery ownership.
• Deliver all software projects on time with pre-set quality metrics.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprints, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and guide the team in adhering to Agile principles.
• Remove impediments and foster a collaborative environment while driving increases in automation and LEAN improvements.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
• Proactively identify and assess project risks, developing mitigation plans as needed.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery processes and implement best practices in project management and Agile methodologies.
• Foster a strong collaborative environment within the tech team and across departments.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software development project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience in implementing them in a software development environment.
• Experience with project management tools (Jira, Asana, etc.) and software development lifecycle processes.
• Previous experience managing a large team.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in the FinTech industry is a plus.
