Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Manage project execution, tracking progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with the Head of Product to shape the product backlog and work with the CTO for timely project delivery.
- Set expectations for top management concerning software delivery ownership.
- Deliver all software projects on time with pre-set quality metrics.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprints, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and guide the team in adhering to Agile principles.
- Remove impediments and foster a collaborative environment while driving increases in automation and LEAN improvements.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
- Proactively identify and assess project risks, developing mitigation plans as needed.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery processes and implement best practices in project management and Agile methodologies.
- Foster a strong collaborative environment within the tech team and across departments.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software development project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience in implementing them in a software development environment.
- Experience with project management tools (Jira, Asana, etc.) and software development lifecycle processes.
- Previous experience managing a large team.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in the FinTech industry is a plus.
