The IT Project Manager will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, card schemes, compliance teams, and other internal stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects within the agreed scope, timelines, budget, quality, and governance standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end IT project delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, stakeholder coordination, vendor management, and project closure.
- Coordinate closely with various stakeholders to align project objectives and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with structured governance environments that emphasize strong documentation, reporting, escalation, and change control practices.
- Oversee the management of project risks, issues, dependencies, change requests, and escalations.
- Foster effective communication across multiple teams, including senior management, technology teams, and external partners.
- Utilize strong analytical, planning, documentation, and reporting skills to track project progress and outcomes.
Experience and Certification Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in IT Project Management, preferably within banking, financial services, cards, payments, or digital banking environments.
- PMP certification is required or strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in managing complex IT project deliveries while adhering to established governance standards.
Cards and Banking Domain Knowledge
- Good understanding of tokenization, PCI DSS, ePayments, digital wallets, and payment processing flows.
- Familiarity with card schemes, certifications, mandates, and compliance requirements.
- Strong vendor coordination, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in banking IT environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a structured and proactive approach to delivery.
