Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Manage project execution, tracking progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with the Head of Product to shape the product backlog for upcoming sprints and work closely with the CTO for on-time project delivery.
- Set expectations for senior management regarding software delivery and take ownership of project outcomes.
- Deliver all software projects on time with pre-set quality standards.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprints, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
- Guide the team in adopting and adhering to Agile principles and practices.
- Remove impediments and foster a collaborative environment.
- Drive increases in automation and LEAN improvements.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders (product owners, engineers, management) to provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
- Identify and assess project risks proactively and develop mitigation plans.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Qashio's delivery processes by implementing best practices in project management and Agile methodologies.
- Foster a strong collaborative environment within the tech team and across departments, promoting effective communication and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software development project management with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience in implementing them in a software development environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with project management tools (Jira, Asana, etc.) and software development lifecycle processes.
- Previous experience managing a large team and working closely with multiple teams such as Tech, Product, QA, and Customer Success.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in the FinTech industry is a plus.
