Reporting to the Portfolio Manager or Program Manager, this position acts as an enabler to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within the agreed scope and budget. This involves strong coordination with Technology stakeholders, Business Relationship Managers, Architecture and Design teams, as well as other units within the Group Technology Unit.
The successful candidate will have extensive expertise in Technology Infrastructure within the banking industry, various business functions, leadership capabilities, and team management. They should be detail-oriented, able to work under tight timelines, self-driven, and solution-focused. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential for building strong partnerships with different business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Infrastructure Transformation programs with a strong background.
- Expert in Data Centre, Compute, Storage, Virtualization, and IT Networks.
- Successful track record of managing projects exceeding AED 1 million.
- Gather detailed requirements in coordination with various stakeholders.
- Plan and execute detailed task levels efficiently.
- Adopt accelerated delivery using agile methodologies where feasible.
- Ensure project delivery within time, cost, and quality constraints.
- Produce deliverables/products to agreed specifications.
- Coordinate with various Technology teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Identify and actively manage project-related issues and risks.
- Ensure successful communication across all project levels.
- Collaborate with vendors for hardware delivery and installation, ensuring on-time delivery.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Project Management with a good understanding of IT infrastructure technologies.
- Strong expertise in managing Infrastructure Transformation programs.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
- Experience working in matrix organizations and with tools such as Clarity, Jira, and Confluence.
- Strong technical knowledge on IT infrastructure concepts.
- Excellent communication (verbal & written) and documentation skills.
- Strong reporting abilities.
- Certifications such as PMP would be an added advantage.
