Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Manage project execution, track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with the Head of Product to shape the product backlog for upcoming sprints.
- Work closely with the CTO for on-time project delivery.
- Set expectations for top management regarding software delivery ownership.
- Deliver all software projects on time with the expected quality metrics.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprints, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
- Guide the team in adopting and adhering to Agile principles and practices.
- Remove impediments and foster a collaborative environment.
- Drive increases in automation and LEAN improvements.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
- Proactively identify and assess project risks; develop and implement mitigation plans.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's delivery processes.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software development project management with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience in implementing them in a software development environment.
- Experience with project management tools (Jira, Asana, etc.) and software development lifecycle processes.
- Previous experience managing a large team.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in the FinTech industry is a plus.
