IT Quality Analyst

About the Job:
ASMO is a groundbreaking joint venture between DHL and Saudi Aramco, set to redefine the procurement and supply chain landscape in Saudi Arabia and the MENA region by the year 2025. ASMO will provide integrated procurement and supply chain services across the industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical sectors, focusing initially on Saudi Aramco and its affiliates.

The IT Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of IT systems, software, and applications within ASMO. This role entails establishing and implementing quality assurance processes and practices to identify and resolve defects, enhance system performance, and improve user experience.

General Responsibilities:

• Identify quality assurance requirements, methodologies, and standards for IT systems and software projects.
• Define test objectives and scope; develop and execute test plans, scripts, and scenarios to verify functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Conduct various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Report software defects using defect tracking tools; monitor resolutions and verify fixes through retesting.
• Track quality metrics and prepare quality assurance reports with test results and process improvement recommendations.
• Document test plans, test cases, test scripts, and quality assurance procedures.
• Communicate quality principles throughout the IT organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or an equivalent field from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English.
• ISTQB Certified Tester, Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA), or other relevant certifications preferred.
