About the Role
Jobholders are responsible for leading work activities and working autonomously with minor direction towards predetermined long-term objectives. They oversee the implementation of operational plans and work on significant improvements to set policies, procedures, standards, and reports. Their main operational focus includes providing expert support to research and benchmark on IT security new trends and standards and supervising the development of IT security guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure full protection of the IT environment. Responsibilities also include managing the analysis and diagnosis of IT security incidents and risks, supervising the development of periodical IT risk assessments, and providing recommendations during the development, preparation, and execution of the IT security compliance program to balance investments with compliance targets. Additionally, they follow up on the implementation of corrective actions to mitigate IT security risks.

Job Responsibilities
IT Security Architecture Development
- Conduct research and benchmark on IT security, collect necessary information, and develop IT security architecture, guidelines, policies, and procedures while ensuring proper alignment with IT strategy for full protection of the IT environment.
- Gather inputs to analyze IT security incidents, identify IT security risks, and design IT security risk management tools to ensure consistency in identifying and addressing information security risks.
- Collect requirements to develop periodic IT risk assessments, define configurations to prepare the IT environment, perform assessments in cooperation with stakeholders, and monitor results to register all IT security risks and threats.
- Understand IT security compliance program requirements, collaborate with stakeholders to prepare the IT environment, and implement the program while balancing investments and compliance targets.
- Collect data on IT security architecture performance, analyze challenges, and update the architecture to resolve issues.
Organization and Operations
- Follow relevant policies, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure work is conducted in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Assist in resolving escalated problems and provide necessary support for junior team members to ensure efficient operations.
- Escalate complex problems to relevant parties to guarantee proper resolution of cases/issues.
- Perform other duties as requested.
People Management
- Train junior staff on various job activities to ensure the transfer of knowledge when applicable.
- Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibilities, and monitor the workflow of subordinates or junior staff.
- Support junior staff or direct reports in executing their duties according to established policies and processes.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent is required.
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
