Job Purpose:
The IT Security Specialist will establish a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy by designing and implementing security measures, as well as evaluating technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data.
- Evaluate and recommend security technologies and tools.
- Handle all security incidents.
- Contribute to IT risk identification, classification, and response processes.
- Participate in enterprise risk management.
- Perform technical security project implementations and meet project deadlines.
- Manage user access and permissions to systems and data.
- Research current security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Configure and maintain security systems (AV/EDR/FIM/NDR/DLP/DC/Email Security).
- Support InfoSec audits (Internal, External, PCI, and SAMA).
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in IT security roles.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
- Proven experience in IT security roles with knowledge of security technologies and tools.
- Expertise in Intrusion Detection/Prevention and Security Incident handling.
- Knowledge of Anti-Virus, Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Email Security.
- Familiarity with Cloud Security (AWS/OCI/GCP/Azure) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
