Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented IT Service Desk Agent to join our team! In this role, you will provide first-level analytical and IT technical support remotely to end users of Parsons personal computers, workstations, and related software and hardware.

Location: Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer end user IT questions and troubleshoot standard IT issues remotely via telephone, email, or Instant Messenger.
  • Recognize, categorize, and isolate end user questions, issues, and problems; resolve situations or escalate to more senior staff or other IT groups as necessary.
  • Research and develop solutions for standard software and hardware issues.
  • Maintain a good general knowledge of the MIS environment and associated technologies.
  • Follow company policies and procedures in responding to end user requests.
  • Document and report all service requests and their outcomes.
  • Provide Service Desk on-call support for non-business hours (Weekends and Holidays).
  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Computer Engineering.
  • Minimum 0-1 years of related work experience in IT support or the MIS environment (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
  • One or more Microsoft or Cisco Training Certifications is required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and applications, as well as personal computer technology, including various computer models, printers, and peripherals.
  • Familiarity with the MIS environment and knowledge of the assigned area.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve common technical issues.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
