Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and propose suitable IT solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demos, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
- Develop detailed solution designs, including architecture diagrams, bill of materials (BoM), and cost estimates.
- Assist in proposals, RFP responses, and technical documentation.
- Oversee IT project scope lifecycles from initiation to completion.
- Serve as the technical lead for deployment and configuration of solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, developers, and third-party vendors.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive solutions to effectively advise clients.
- Support the operations team with IT requirements arising from customer requests.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to clients and internal teams.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DHCP, DNS).
- Extensive knowledge of servers, storage, and backup technologies.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and load balancing/security solutions.
- Familiarity with container solutions (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- High-level knowledge of database platforms (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL).
- Strong understanding of system integration, enterprise architecture, backup & disaster recovery solutions, and Business Continuity planning.
