About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, managing, maintaining, testing, evaluating, and repairing computer networks and workstations. You will support server systems, hardware/software, user accounts, and computer/telephone rooms, while also training users in the proper use and security of all systems. Your role involves troubleshooting and resolving technical problems related to computer hardware/software, LAN/WAN, and the internet. Additionally, you will respond to program error messages, provide network communications support, and offer technical guidance, referring major problems to vendors or technicians as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, recommend, and implement process improvements.
  • Consult with team members to assess, analyze, and resolve computing needs and system requirements.
  • Inspect, test, and diagnose computer equipment and systems.
  • Plan and coordinate the installation, movement, addition, change, and enhancement of IT-related equipment.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures.
  • Provide end-user support for all applications.
  • Manage disk space for the entire network.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all technological devices.
  • Ensure backup tapes are securely locked in a fireproof safe.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Address guests' service needs and assist other employees as necessary.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally; answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.
  • Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues to support team goals.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and identify ways to enhance organizational efficiency, safety, and cost savings.
  • Perform physical tasks including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and navigate stairs or ramps as needed.
  • Enter and locate information using computer systems and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Complete other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
  • License or Certification: None required.
