Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and propose suitable IT solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demos, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
- Develop detailed solution designs, including architecture diagrams, Bill of Materials (BoM), and cost estimates.
- Assist in proposals, RFP responses, and technical documentation.
- Oversee IT project scope lifecycles from initiation to completion.
- Serve as the technical lead for deployment and configuration of solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, developers, and third-party vendors.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive solutions to advise clients effectively.
- Provide support to operations teams for any IT requirements arising from customer requests.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to clients and internal teams.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DHCP, DNS).
- Extensive knowledge of servers, storage, and backup technologies.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with load balancing and security solutions and practices (e.g., IDS/IPS, SIEM, Sandboxes, EDR, Firewalls, and hardening).
- Knowledge of container solutions (e.g., Kubernetes and OpenShift).
- High-level knowledge of database platforms (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, and MSSQL).
- Experience in planning and executing IT project scopes, including system upgrades and migrations.
- Strong understanding of system integration and enterprise architecture.
- Understanding of backup and disaster recovery solutions and strategies.
- Understanding of Business Continuity planning.
