About the Role
In this role, you will oversee the daily operation and maintenance of the hotel’s IT systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure. You will be an essential resource for providing technical support to both hotel colleagues and management, ensuring the smooth operation of various hotel systems such as PMS, POS, IPTV, Wi-Fi, telephony, CCTV, and access control systems. By monitoring system performance and troubleshooting any hardware, software, or network-related issues, you will help maintain the operational continuity of the hotel. Additionally, you will coordinate with external vendors for system installations, upgrades, and maintenance, while also ensuring compliance with company policies regarding user accounts, permissions, and data security.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operation and maintenance of IT systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Provide technical support to hotel colleagues and management.
- Ensure smooth operation of hotel systems, including PMS, POS, IPTV, Wi-Fi, telephony, CCTV, and access control systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for system installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Maintain user accounts, permissions, and data security in accordance with company policies.
- Perform regular system backups and support disaster recovery procedures.
- Assist in implementing new technologies and IT projects to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate IT inventory records and manage IT assets.
- Train employees on the effective use of hotel technology systems and applications.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and data protection requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of IT experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, networking, and cybersecurity principles.
- Experience with hotel systems such as Opera PMS, Micros POS, IPTV, CCTV, and access control is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
- Relevant IT certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA) are an advantage.
