IT Supervisor

About the Job:

As an IT Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting departments with the operation of all computer hardware and software installations and maintenance. You will serve as a secondary contact for all servicing of computer PC hardware and/or software. Key responsibilities include managing technology/asset life-cycle, ensuring necessary equipment (PCs, servers, telecom-related, etc.) is ordered and available, and overseeing disaster recovery and business continuity as it relates to technology.

Additional duties involve:

• Installing, monitoring, and maintaining telecommunications equipment including cabling.
• Providing desktop support, imaging desktops, installing new software applications, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Maintaining an inventory of all hardware and software supplies and logging service calls.
• Implementing preventive maintenance for all IT hardware and software.
• Managing the IT team in the absence of the IT Manager, including task assignment and training.

Location: Ras Al Khaimah, Ras al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Previous hotel IT experience preferred.
• Strong guest orientation and conflict resolution skills.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
