IT Support Engineer

This role is for an IT Support Engineer who will report to the IT Manager at your home site and will be responsible for implementing and maintaining critical infrastructure elements, as well as providing day-to-day support to meet operational needs. You will work closely with business colleagues and remote support teams, acting as an escalation point for IT Support Technicians and other teams on technical issues. There will be opportunities to get involved in projects and innovate, contributing to high-quality results within a multinational team.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring all IT equipment and infrastructure run at optimum performance while meeting departmental KPIs and SLAs.
• Manage the availability of IT equipment through continuous improvement and cost reduction efforts.
• Liaising with global SME teams for the installation and maintenance of networking and server infrastructure.
• Conduct site audits to ensure compliance with the company IT and Health & Safety guidelines.
• Represent the IT department in site meetings and conference calls, acting as the point of contact for the business and other support functions.
• Provide project management support, maintaining documentation and keeping stakeholders informed of project progress.
• Direct and support IT Support Technicians regarding trouble tickets and action items.
• Produce weekly reports covering metrics and performed work.
• Support recruitment and mentoring of new talent into OpsTechIT.

Work Conditions

• Occasional travel is required.
• You will contribute to the on-call schedule for high severity incidents.
