As an IT Technician, you will report to the IT Manager and will work closely with colleagues and remote support teams to implement and maintain infrastructure elements. You will be a key part of a multinational, diverse team, delivering high-quality results while providing world-class service to our customers.
This position is crucial to the Operations business area, focusing on the Fulfilment Centre and Logistics. The IT Operation team supports the IT Infrastructure at each company site and ensures that departmental KPIs and SLAs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all IT equipment and infrastructure is running at optimal performance.
- Take ownership of health & safety, ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines.
- Install, maintain, and support IT equipment.
- Manage assets and inventory efficiently in coordination with third-party vendors and suppliers.
- Maximize availability of IT equipment through continuous improvement and proactive maintenance.
- Provide technical support for site and team projects, conduct end-user equipment trials, and assist senior engineers as required.
- Work in shifts and support occasional changes in working hours.
Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in a corporate setting supporting Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems.
- Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
- Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers, troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals.
- UAE National with Family Book.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware installation, AWS, or other industry-relevant certifications.
- Experience in a dynamic environment with a strong emphasis on customer service.
