Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot operating system, application, email, and connectivity problems.
- Assist with user account creation, password resets, and access permissions.
- Maintain and update computer systems, software, and security applications.
- Monitor network connectivity and report technical issues when required.
- Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and business applications.
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with data backups and basic recovery procedures.
- Maintain IT equipment inventory and software licence records.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and support requests.
- Coordinate with external IT service providers when necessary.
- Follow company IT policies, cybersecurity procedures, and data protection guidelines.
- Provide technical guidance and basic IT training to employees.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Previous experience in IT support, technical support, or a similar position is preferred.
- Good knowledge of computer hardware, software installation, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
- Basic understanding of computer networks, LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, and connectivity issues.
- Knowledge of user account management and access permissions is an advantage.
- Familiarity with antivirus software, system updates, and cybersecurity practices.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve common technical problems.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize support requests and manage multiple tasks.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Professional attitude, patience, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work on-site in Dubai, UAE.
