As an IT Technician, you will report to the IT Manager at your home site and will be responsible for working closely with the business, colleagues, and remote support teams to implement and maintain infrastructure elements. Responsibilities

  • Provide a 1st support service to ensure all IT equipment and infrastructure is running optimally.
  • Ensure departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met on your home site and any remote sites supported.
  • Take ownership of Health & Safety, ensuring that work is carried out to a high standard and complies with all Amazon policies and guidelines.
  • Install, maintain, and support IT equipment.
  • Manage asset and inventory effectively.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors and suppliers for efficient asset management.
  • Communicate technical issues and Amazon standards clearly to contractors or external suppliers.
  • Maximize the availability of all IT equipment and infrastructure through continuous improvement and proactive maintenance.
  • Provide technical support/input to site and team projects and initiatives.
  • Conduct end-user equipment trials and testing.
  • Assist senior engineers as needed.
  • Work in shifts and support occasional changes in working hours.

Requirements

  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry relevant certifications.
  • 2+ years of corporate setting experience in Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems support is preferred.
