As an IT Technician, you will report to the IT Manager at your home site and be responsible for collaborating with the business, colleagues, and remote support teams to implement and maintain infrastructure elements. You will represent the ‘face of IT’ to the business and provide world-class service to customers.

You will be a key part of a multinational diverse team, delivering high-quality results while always looking for improvements. The IT Operation team supports the IT Infrastructure at each Amazon site and provides IT support to our customer base.

Job Type: Full-time
Work Conditions: Shift work (including weekends) with occasional changes in working hours

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st support service to ensure all IT equipment and infrastructure runs at optimum performance while meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Take ownership of health and safety, ensuring compliance with Amazon policies and guidelines.
  • Install, maintain, and support IT equipment.
  • Manage assets and inventory.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors and suppliers for efficient asset management.
  • Maximize the availability of IT equipment through continuous improvement and proactive maintenance.
  • Assist in conducting end-user equipment trials and testing.
  • Provide technical support to site and team projects as needed.
  • Assist senior engineers as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry-relevant certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
