Position

The IT Support Technician is responsible for maintaining client infrastructure and ensuring the continuity of business operations for client employees. This role is vital for supporting the smooth running of client IT endpoints and assisting employees with their devices. The technician will also play a role in growing and maintaining the company's core IT infrastructures, including operational checks, validations, and remediation of any identified issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Support client end users and resolve tickets/report issues.
  • Prepare new equipment, including asset tagging, assignment, and tracking.
  • Create new users, assign ACLs, and manage user onboarding/offboarding.
  • Monitor hardware and software stock levels and place order requests.
  • Maintain endpoint security, software updates, and patching.
  • Generate monthly Endpoint Health Check Reports.
  • Verify that correct security features and licensing are enabled for client employees.
  • Respond to on-site incidents in client's offices.
  • Maintain configuration backups of infrastructure components.
  • Address SOC alerts and reported incidents with necessary remedial action.
  • Produce monthly infrastructure health check reports.
  • Maintain and review the client's asset register.
  • Perform monthly Active Directory reviews and system access reviews.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information security or IT-related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in IT support and resolving user-reported issues.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Domains.
  • Working knowledge of Office 365, Exchange Online, and Azure AD.
  • Experience in maintaining endpoint OS and troubleshooting software/hardware issues.
  • Good understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
  • Familiarity with information security concepts and related technologies.
  • Microsoft certification and other infrastructure technology certifications preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills in enterprise support and ITIL Process.
  • Strong problem-solving capability and ability to analyze data.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations calmly and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to new situations.
