In this role, you will:
Deployment:

  • Carry out all pre-requisite works for the installations of computers, peripheral devices, telephone, and other infrastructure components.
  • Manage the deployment of equipment independently while maintaining quality of workmanship as per IT standards in all installation-related activities.

Maintenance:

  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance of various types of computers, printers, kiosks, and other data communication equipment and peripherals.
  • Maintain stock thresholds for spare parts and provide regular updates based on historical trends and current requests for repair of any faulty devices.

Support:

  • Assist engineers in completing surveys, installations, general fault rectification, and replacing faulty equipment to maintain high uptime of systems.
  • Provide superior customer service to enhance customer perception and satisfaction, effectively minimizing system downtime.
  • Proactively communicate with customers about the status and progress of incidents, ensuring they are informed of any potential breaches of Service Level Objectives (SLO).

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:

  • Vocational or Diploma (12+2 or equivalent).
  • 3+ years of experience in Information Technology, Hardware, IT Helpdesk/Technical Call Centre.
  • UAE driving license.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Experience in customer support and operational support roles.
  • Knowledge of ITIL, Service Now, operating systems, Active Directory, and Azure Administration.
  • Experience in troubleshooting hardware issues with PCs and other end-user devices, including applications, operating systems, and networking.
  • Familiarity with remote management tools like RDP and deployment tools like SCCM, Intune, etc.
  • Experience in installation and cabling of LAN/WAN related networks.
  • Ability to react quickly, logically, and effectively under pressure, with at least 2 years of experience within a service desk environment.
  • Proficient in using PCs and office tools such as MS Word and Email.
