Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented IT Support Technician EUC to join our team! In this role, you will provide EUC support for field operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide L1/L2 level analytical and IT technical support to end users for Parsons personal computers, workstations, and related software and hardware.
- Answer end user IT questions, troubleshoot standard IT issues, problems, and failures with Parsons hardware, software, peripherals, or workstations, both on-site and remotely.
- Recognize, categorize, and isolate end user questions, issues, and problems; either resolve them or refer to more senior Service Desk staff or other Parsons IT groups.
- Research and develop solutions for standard software and hardware questions, issues, problems, and failures.
- Maintain a good general knowledge of the MIS environment and related technologies, along with the standard workstation configurations.
- Follow Parsons policies, procedures, and standards in responding to end user requests and providing support.
- Document and report all service requests and their outcomes, following standard procedures.
- Provide Service Desk on-call support for non-business hours (Weekends and Holidays).
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate.
Required Skills:
- High school diploma or Engineering degree.
- 0-1 years of related work experience providing support to end users in an IT support role or working in the MIS environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and applications, and personal computer technology, including various computer models, printers, and peripherals.
- Familiarity with the MIS environment and customer service skills.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve common technical issues with standard Parsons hardware and software configurations.
- Written and oral communication skills appropriate for an IT helpdesk role.
- Must be a UAE National.
Desired Skills:
- Any IT certifications.
- Good spoken English and Arabic language skills.
