As part of the Enterprise Technology team, the On-site Technology Support Specialist's mission is to assist customers in fulfilling their purposes, contributing to the creation of a better working world by providing tailored support services. This professional will execute multiple technology support activities, demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks across various software and hardware technologies in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Support the deployment of hardware and software to end users, including installation, configuration, and testing. - Manage provisioning and deprovisioning processes, setting up hardware/software for new hires and receiving hardware from departing employees. - Assist in repairing end-user hardware and reinstalling software as needed. - Resolve incidents related to firm-standard end-user software and hardware, including mobile technologies. - Identify sources and trends of technical issues to prevent future occurrences. - Provide after-hours service for escalated issues from the Service Desk or supervisor. - Perform asset management activities per firm policy and EY Technology processes. - Support off-site technology tasks for firm-sponsored functions and help with IT tasks related to office moves. - Act as "remote hands" for other EY Technology functions, maintaining a thorough understanding of service offerings. Skills and Attributes for Success: - Effective analytical skills to address end-user incidents. - Strong customer service attitude and excellent communication skills. - Approximately 2-4 years of experience in end-user technology support. - A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is desirable.
