As part of the Enterprise Technology team, the On-site Technology Support Specialist is responsible for delivering effective technology support to customers within the country. This role requires multitasking across various hardware and software technologies in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and support the deployment of hardware and software to end users, including the installation, configuration, and testing of complex hardware.
- Assist with provisioning and deprovisioning processes, setting up hardware/software for new hires, and handling returning hardware from separating employees.
- Manage the repair of end user hardware and reinstall software to resolve incidents.
- Identify and resolve issues with firm-standard end user software and hardware, including mobile technologies.
- Conduct asset management activities including procurement, inventory tracking, and distribution.
- Support off-site technology for firm-sponsored functions and assist with office relocations and technology tasks.
- Maintain an understanding of EY Technology's offerings to address user needs effectively.
Skills and Attributes for Success:
- Effective analytical and decision-making skills to manage end-user incidents.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent customer service attitude with the ability to liaise with all levels of end users and IT personnel.
- Approximately 2-4 years of experience in end-user technology support is desirable.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
