Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver assigned programs/projects to ensure cost, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee all aspects of the projects by managing scope and allocating time and resources effectively.
- Identify and mitigate risks, address issues proactively, and implement change control processes.
- Establish and maintain effective governance mechanisms to oversee projects, ensuring proper tracking and reporting on status and progress.
- Implement robust monitoring systems to monitor project performance and provide updates to stakeholders as scheduled.
- Proactively manage relationships with internal stakeholders (team members and project management) and external stakeholders (vendors and partners) to meet expectations and address conflicts promptly.
- Manage relationships with external suppliers and vendors to align them with project objectives and maximize their contributions.
- Drive the realization of benefits from projects by identifying and implementing strategies that maximize value in coordination with department heads.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline processes, and optimize project outcomes while navigating complex projects and managing diverse stakeholders.
- Perform any additional projects, tasks, or activities assigned or delegated by the Line Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a master's degree in technology is an advantage.
- 10 – 15 years of relevant experience in IT transformations, with a strong technical understanding of telecom systems, architecture, and solutions, preferably in the telecommunications sector.
- 5 years of Project Management experience, with at least 3-5 years delivering large and complex integrated customer-facing systems.
- Experience in partner/vendor management, outsourcing, and in-sourcing, with exposure to different engagement models and an understanding of total cost of ownership for assigned projects.
- Knowledge and in-depth experience in managing the full lifecycle of IT application development with various methodologies, along with the ability to build partnerships and negotiate with third parties for effective delivery options across projects.
- PMP or Prince2 certification preferred.
