Key Responsibilities:

System Design and Architecture: Design and implement robust IT/OT architectures to integrate seamlessly with manufacturing processes, including defining system structure, components, modules, interfaces, and data.

Technology Evaluation: Assess and select appropriate technologies for IT/OT convergence, including edge computing and industrial IoT platforms, while staying updated on technological trends.

Integration: Ensure seamless integration of IT systems with OT systems (e.g., SCADA, PLCs, MES) to optimize manufacturing processes.

Data Modeling and Analytics Enablement: Collaborate with data scientists to deploy machine learning models on-premises and in the cloud.

Collaboration: Work with business analysts, project managers, and developers to align architecture with business objectives.

Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for architecture and implementation strategies.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that architecture meets quality standards and adheres to best practices.

Security: Implement robust security measures to protect IT and OT systems from cyber threats.

Project Management: Lead and manage IT/OT projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT/OT architecture, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong expertise in SCADA, PLCs, MES, and ERP platforms.
- Experience in developing applications using cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Proficient in relevant programming languages for industrial automation and analytics.
- Familiarity with data science, edge computing, and model lifecycle management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience managing large-scale IT/OT projects.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles.
- Relevant certifications such as TOGAF or Microsoft Azure Architect.
- Familiarity with the metal manufacturing industry is a plus.
