Key responsibilities include reviewing and recommending approval of FSDDs, test plans, shop drawings, and material submissions, as well as ensuring contractor compliance with contracts and coordinating with other disciplines. You will monitor safety and workmanship, prepare documentation, assist with variations and change orders, and verify as-built documentation for the effective handover of all ITS works.

What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting and supervising ITS design input, specification compliance, installation, testing, and integration across major infrastructure projects.
- Reviewing and approving FSDDs, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements while coordinating installations of ITS devices and related systems.
- Conducting site inspections to verify workmanship, safety, and compliance with designs.
- Overseeing FAT, SAT, prototype tests, and other testing protocols; preparing and closing punch lists before handover.
- Maintaining precise documentation related to approvals, changes, correspondence, and photographic records to assist the Resident Engineer.
Principal Responsibilities
- Supervise systems design, specification interpretation, deployment, testing and integration of traffic system components including RVDS, Bluetooth, CCTV, and ITS installations.
- Review and approve integration and systems test plans.
- Ensure contractor compliance with contract documents and inspect workmanship.
- Coordinate with other contractors and review their shop drawings.
- Check personnel, equipment, and material costs for variation and change orders.
- Monitor safety conditions and address construction safety violations.
- Attend ITS meetings and prepare documented minutes.
- Manage correspondence and provide necessary photographic documentation.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- 7 years of experience as an Engineer.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communications, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering (with ITS experience), or related field.
- Strong understanding of ITS technologies (CCTV, RVDS, etc.), fiber optic networks, power distribution, RTA/SRTA standards, cybersecurity, traffic engineering, and ITS system architecture.
- Proficiency in CAD, GIS, and design tools; knowledge of project management and documentation practices.
- Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management capabilities.
- CCNA Certification is a plus.
