The company is seeking an intelligent and motivated ITS Engineer to join our team in Dubai. In this role, you will support the Resident Engineer in managing all administrative, technical, and operational aspects of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). This includes overseeing design input, ensuring specification compliance, and facilitating deployment, testing, and integration of various ITS elements such as RVDS, Bluetooth sensors, CCTV, and DMS.

You will be involved in reviewing and recommending approvals for FSDDs, test plans, shop drawings, and material submissions while ensuring contractor compliance with contract documents. Coordination with other disciplines and contractors is crucial, as is monitoring safety and workmanship. You will also prepare minutes and correspondence, maintain photographic documentation, assist with variation and change order evaluations, and verify as-built documentation and final inspections.
Responsibilities:
- Support and supervise ITS design input, specification compliance, installation, testing, and integration across major infrastructure projects.
- Review and approve integration and systems test plans.
- Ensure contractors comply with contract documents regarding quality of workmanship and materials.
- Conduct routine site inspections and oversee testing processes, including FAT, SAT, and OTDR fiber tests.
- Provide detailed documentation of approvals and changes, assisting the Resident Engineer with variations, claims, and final system commissioning.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience for the Engineer role.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communications, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering (with ITS experience), or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Strong understanding of ITS technologies (CCTV, RVDS, Bluetooth, DMS) and fiber optic networks.
- Excellent knowledge of ITS system architecture and central system interfacing.
- Strong design capability using CAD, GIS, and design tools.
- Superior communication skills (both written and verbal), along with strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with VM, Linux, and Windows environments; CCNA Certification is a plus.
