Job Description:
- Develop and supervise the creation of ITS engineering products, ensuring they meet customer quality requirements and integrate with existing infrastructure.
- Design network and infrastructure for ITS systems and equipment, including roads, tunnels, and bridges.
- Collaborate on the development of advanced traffic management systems, including traffic signals, CCTV, security systems, and SCADA integration.
- Research and incorporate emerging technologies such as Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAV), data hubs, and real-time analytics to optimize traffic flow and safety.
- Participate in project planning, defining scopes, schedules, deliverables, and specific client requirements for ITS implementations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, promote technical excellence, and contribute to quality improvement processes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including traffic engineers, software developers, and stakeholders, to deliver integrated ITS solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with technological developments in ITS and traffic management.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer, Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 12+ years of experience in ITS, with expertise in advanced traffic management systems and knowledge of emerging technologies (e.g., CAV, AI-driven analytics, IoT integration).
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and networking certifications like CCNA/CCNP.
- Experience in systems engineering, integration, big data analysis, or traffic software development.
- Strong understanding of ITS operations, traffic management principles, and interoperability standards (e.g., NTCIP).
- Proven ability to manage projects on schedule and within budget, with effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Desired Skills:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification.
- Experience with SCADA systems, Integrated Corridor Management Systems (ICMS), and real-time data processing.
