Position

The IVVQ Engineer is a key member of the Integration, Verification, Validation and Qualification (IVVQ) team responsible for a radio communication system that integrates both hardware and software components. This role ensures that the system meets technical, functional, and performance requirements throughout its lifecycle, including testing, customer acceptance, and support during deployment. The position requires obtaining security clearance to work at military bases and involves travel to these sites.

Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • System Integration and Verification:

    • Integrate hardware, software, and radio subsystems in lab and pre-deployment environments.
    • Contribute to the definition of test strategy and test procedures based on system requirements.
    • Execute system and end-to-end tests, ensuring thorough analysis of results and coordination of corrective actions with engineering teams.
  • Validation and Qualification:

    • Validate system behavior against operational and customer requirements.
    • Support formal reviews and acceptance milestones.
  • Platform and Test Means:

    • Maintain platform configuration control and propose enhancements to increase test coverage and reliability.
  • Deployment and Customer Site Support:

    • Support system deployment and testing at customer sites, executing on-site verification and acceptance tests.
    • Interface with customers during test and acceptance phases.
  • Documentation and Reporting:

    • Produce and maintain IVVQ documentation.
    • Provide regular reporting on IVVQ activities.

Work Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IVVQ.
  • Hands-on experience with radio communication systems or complex hardware/software systems.
  • Experience in customer-facing projects and on-site deployment activities is a strong plus.
  • Experience in defense projects or critical infrastructure preferred.

Qualification, Certification & Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of radio communication systems.
  • Knowledge of hardware/software integration and system-level testing.
  • Experience with Linux-based systems and virtualization.
  • Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Ansible).
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

Language Requirements:

  • Fluent in English.
  • French and Arabic are a plus.
