Java Back-End Developer

About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled Java Back-End Developer to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading IT services, consulting, and business solutions organization. In this full-time (on-site) position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, you will play a critical role in our clients' transformation journeys. Your responsibilities will include developing robust back-end solutions with a strong focus on Java and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize backend systems using Java (11-17), SpringBoot, and Spring Framework.
• Implement Spring Reactive programming and develop Microservices architecture.
• Utilize OpenAPI Specification and REST principles in your services.
• Manage data persistence with JPA/Hibernate and optimize SQL scripts in MySQL/Oracle.
• Work with web services frameworks such as REST and SOAP.
• Leverage cloud technologies within development projects.
• Engage in functional and technical solutioning for software delivery.
• Apply Agile software development methodologies and architecture principles.
• Conduct performance tuning and utilize memory tuning tools.
• Utilize GIT or similar code versioning tools for collaboration.
• Familiarize yourself with Maven build tools and implement GitOps and DevOps practices.
• Participate in commercial software projects with a focus on hybrid cloud distributed architectures.
