Responsibilities:
- Utilize Agile engineering practices and various software and mobile development technologies to rapidly develop creative and efficient solutions that enhance customer and employee experience.
- Collaborate with teams to create clear user stories, design tests for prototypes and products, and continuously deliver product enhancements.
- Work with other teams to negotiate timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Designers, and team members to identify product and delivery risks.
- Drive and promote best practices in engineering processes and Agile behavior.
- Communicate with stakeholders about Agile processes to manage expectations regarding delivery methods and timelines.
- Own and drive automation best practices, such as continuous integration and deployment.
Skills:
- Proficient in Java 8.
- Understanding of Redis caching.
- Experience with the OCP console and event-driven architecture.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Passion for development and a drive for continual learning.
- Experience with pair programming, continuous integration, and test-driven development.
- Knowledge of Functional Programming and Microservices is a plus.
- Community contributions, such as open source projects, are a plus.
- Fluent in English and capable of challenging the status quo.
Experience and Qualification:
- 3-6 years of experience with Java, Spring, J2EE, and Hibernate.
- Experience integrating with enterprise services bus (knowledge of DataPower beneficial).
- Familiarity with crafting custom SOAP messages.
- Experience working with the ELK stack and Logstash beneficial.
- Relevant technology diploma or degree.
- Experience with code refactoring, design patterns, design-driven development, continuous deployment, highly scalable applications, and application security is required.
