About the Role
Are you passionate about building and delivering robust and scalable IT solutions? Do you have experience in developing new software products and maintaining existing ones? We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team.
Your primary responsibilities will include designing and developing new software products using modern technologies and agile methodologies, as well as maintaining existing software. You will take a proactive, solution-driven approach to meet time-sensitive project deliveries and apply modern software development practices to ensure a consistent state-of-the-art design and implementation of software products. Your role will involve ensuring the delivery of high-quality, secure, and scalable software products that seamlessly integrate into the enterprise-wide ecosystem and access channels, analyzing business requirements, designing and implementing solutions, and developing software components to enhance the product incrementally. Additionally, you will support the product in resolving high-priority defects and deploying fixes to production systems while closely collaborating within an agile team and a global agile organization.

The Team
In our agile operating model, teams—known as crews—are organized around major products and services within broader Streams, each designed to meet specific client needs. Our Stream, "Save, Protect, and Grow My Investments," reimagines investing for the digital age and connects clients with a wide range of investment opportunities. You will join the Advisory crew, which delivers essential solutions to support our global Advisory businesses. Your work will involve providing instrument data, performing health checks and calculations, optimizing portfolios, and developing innovative Advisory tools. As part of our development team, you will help design, build, and continuously enhance the Global Risk Analytics & Calculation Engine (GRACE) for Advisory portfolios.
Your Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5+ years hands-on application development experience using Java and Spring, preferably in the finance sector
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree or equivalent with a focus in software engineering
- Proficient in Java 25 and Spring Boot 3.5 for backend development, including REST API and batch processing
- Experience with Angular 20 for modern frontend applications is a plus
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and deploying applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Familiarity with Azure PostgreSQL and relational database management
- Understanding of GitLab CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and API security best practices
- Curious to explore how AI can improve workflows with sound judgment, validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
