Job Responsibilities:
As a Senior SDK Developer, you will be part of the team developing the cutting-edge Tether AI SDK. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developer-Facing SDKs & APIs: Designing, building, and maintaining modular, versioned SDKs that abstract complex backend logic into clean, usable interfaces for seamless integration with Tether’s platform.
- Performance & Reliability at Scale: Ensuring SDKs are fast, lightweight, and reliable under heavy operations, while designing resilient logic and contributing to scalable services powering the SDKs.
- Security-First Engineering: Embedding security practices into SDK architecture, including secure communication, encrypted storage, and rigorous input validation to ensure safe integration pathways.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience working with Node.js/JavaScript in production environments.
- Proven track record in designing and maintaining developer-facing SDKs (npm packages, API clients, or instrumentation libraries).
- Strong understanding of modular architecture, versioning strategies, and semantic API design.
- Experience in developing a complex platform.
- Familiarity with AI applications (RAG, Agents, Inference, AI SDKs).
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and a good understanding of security practices.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with Peer-to-Peer technologies (Kademlia, Bittorrent, libp2p).
- Comfortable with high-availability concepts.
- Skills in Rust or C++.
- Familiarity with real-time data delivery (Node.js/other streaming).
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is required.
